Tax Advantaged Investing
While financial goals differ for investors in various stages of life, a universal objective among most investors of all ages is tax reduction. Certain real estate investments provide passive income gains that can be offset by eligible passive losses from other investments.
IRS Section 121 Personal Residence Exemption
When combined with other tax techniques such as a 1031 Exchange, this IRS tax break can be used to eliminate deferred capital gains from the sale of your income property. Choice Income producing property can be converted into your primary residence. If held for the prescribed period of time, the tax disappears.
